At the Malecon there is this huge Sailfish. manzanillo is the Sailfish capital ( or so they say)

January 12th

Oh the drama we are departing Manzanillo, We love it here we don’t want to leave. We meet a fabulous couple, Ralph and Sandy of SV Inspiration. We spent a wonderful week, touring, and Drinking and just plain having fun. We will miss you and see you soon . We wanted to stay and keep going south with them. Yesterday we went into town and got a 45 peso hair cut for richard and an 80 peso pedicure. We visited the market and the malecon.

This picture is if the 4 of us on our way to tour inland. the lagoon behind us is the lagoon that all the fish in the are go to spawn. it is protected by the government. Ralph, Sandy, Richard and Elizabeth. We miss you already. This lifestyle agrees with me. We are now truly motivated to save and do this for a year or so and take a real sabbatical.
